My Photo

  • [es-pree de less-ka/-iay] (idiom) A witty remark that occurs to you too late, literally on the way down the stairs. The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations defines esprit de l'escalier as, "An untranslatable phrase, the meaning of which is that one only thinks on one's way downstairs of the smart retort one might have made in the drawing room."

That top photo is just great, Claire! Totally cool. I hope things smooth out for you. It's so aggravating till they do though.

Keep your chin up. Smile!

(Don't you hate chipper people when you're feeling all Grrrrr?)

:)

I am placing my bets on the your charming fortune:-)

That's a great photo.

As far as the horoscope... hmmm, you're charming, but stay grounded. I say stay in bed.

Well, don't place bets on my hard drive's charming future, because apparently it's faililng and it's now being replaced. Grr...

I know that feeling.

I have to agree with BG, that picture is so kewl. Very Scooby Doo or something.

Here's hoping for a better week...

I also love that photo. Strangely enough, it's the second photo of me with a face like that and a chicken. It doesn't sound right, but it's funny. I'll have to dig it up.

It looks like the chicken is goosing you.

Does that even qualify as a pun?

It reminds me more of the Chicken Lady from Kids in the Hall.

That is the second time in days that character has been brought up in conversation.

S(he) was freaky.
